Another piece of awesome Urdu language poetry, courtesy of my Uncle (not sure who wrote this though)
Narration
اے داور محشر مجھے تیری قصم، ساری عمر تیری عبادت کی ہے
میرا نامہ اعمال تو دیکھ، مینے انسان سے محبّت کی ہے
O lord of judgment day I swear upon you, that I have worshiped you my whole life
do have a look at my deeds, I have loved human(ity)
As per my understanding the poet is justifying his deeds to the almighty on the day of judgment being confident that as he has just loved humanity all his life, he has duly worshiped the lord.
